Dear Reunion celebrants,

Thank you to all who filled out the pre-Reunion survey and gave feedback on additional group activities for Reunion weekend. Based on the survey, we have added a number of activities on and off campus for you and your guests. The deadline to sign up for these events is May 27; RSVP required.

Alumni Center Tour

200 Fletcher Street

The University of Michigan Alumni Association recently completed a two-year renovation of their Alumni Center. Reunion attendees will be among the first to officially tour the new building, which was redesigned to serve as a destination for all Michigan alumni. The tour will meet at 12:50 p.m. at the Alumni Center, which is located behind the Michigan League and across from Rackham Hall. COVID protocols for visitors to the Alumni Center can be found online.

U-M Art Museum Tour

525 S. State St.

UMMA is the largest university art museum in the United States. This docent-led tour will meet at 11:55 a.m. in front of the museum’s glass door entrance at 525 S. State Street, just across from the Lawyers Club. COVID protocols for the museum can be found online.

Huron River Canoe and Kayak Excursion

Gallup Park Livery

Enjoy a lazy afternoon of kayaking or canoeing down the Huron River. The trip will take approximately 90 minutes; more information about Huron River trips is available here.

For those driving, meet at 1 p.m. at the Gallup Park Livery where you can leave your car and take a shuttle upriver to the start of the trip. For those being dropped off by Uber or Lyft, meet at the Argo Park Canoe Livery at 1:15 p.m., where the trip will begin.

Fees are $30 for a two-person kayak, $24 for a one-person kayak, and $30 for a canoe (fits two adults plus one child). Paddles and life preservers will be provided. Advanced rental is required with the livery; fees will be paid to the livery upon arrival.

Revel & Roll Bowling

1950 South Industrial Hwy.

Hit the lanes (and the arcades) at this popular bowling spot. Interested parties should reserve a lane ahead of time; walk-ins are first come first served and may not be available on the day of the event. Participating alumni will meet at the bowling alley at 1 p.m. to check-in for lane assignment and shoe rental.

Please RSVP for all activities you're planning to attend, including the number of guests in your party.

These and other additional activities around town can be coordinated at your leisure, should the times above not match your schedule.
